Stonefly Roundabout - Timnath
Project type
Infrastructure -Roundabout
Location
Timnath, Colorado
The Stonefly Roundabout is now the heart of the Timnath Municipal complex. The project was designed to open access to pads for the Timnath City Hall, a Timnath Police and Poudre Valley Fire and Rescue station pad, multi-family development and future single-family connecting portions of Timnath that were previously cut off from emergency services when trains passed through the area.
The development was designed to incorporate the South Town Sanitary Sewer Lateral, also designed by Ryan, serving Old Town Timnath, allowing septic systems throughout town to be decommissioned.
The roundabout design was one of the first in Northern Colorado to incorporate design guidelines from the Northeast Roundabouts group.
Project was designed by Ryan Banning prior to the formation of ROBAN Design.
